I was never a fan of the doom series. I need a reason to fight other than to just laugh at my opponent.

yeah it isn't one worth buying the replay value just isn't their....

I'm more of a stratagy game person out of SWG. The only shooter I play is Counterstrike...and it has to be a bad day at work for that. My buddy came in my office at home the other day and was asking me why I was landing the Corsair in the road on the Iwo Jima map on BF 1942. I told him it was the most efficent way behind enemy lines, and you can usually run over 4-5 jap soldiers landing as well as block the road for their tanks.

He just looked at me, shook his head and left. I had a long Quake 2 stint back when I was in the Navy. However when your on a Submarine, your very limited to what you can do. I still play good old Civ 2 and Age of Wonders. Theres nothing like that feeling you get from taking over the known world.....aalhhh what a rush!

Yeah, the Civ series is great. I prefer the turn based strategies to real time ones. too much to keep track of in the real time ones for me.
