Pitch it, its just another looted crap component.

I get these offered a lot so let throw some info out there for looters to use when selling their stuff.

If the item you loot has no special name, just the name of what it actually is, then its probably crap. For example a Vibro Motor Unit is crap while a Lightweight Vibro Motor is not.

If it had a name attached to it its probably worthwhile, like the components you get from theme park loot.

Some loot is actually enhancements to parts instead of the actual components. High Frequency Vibro motors that you can loot from Nym's NPCs actualy increase the wound chance (big whoop) of a crafted Vibro Motor.

Geonosian Loot is always good but some better than others. Sword/Reinforcement Cores are decent but Cubes vary quite a bit. Here's the Breakdown...
White Cubes - No Stat Enhancement
Green Cubes - Max Condition Enhancement
Red Cubes - HAM Cost Reduction Enhancement
Yellow Cubes - Min/Max Damage Enhancement

Finally there is creature loot. Personally I feel most are not really worth it unless its Gorax, Ackley, or Krayt Loot. Here's another breakdown for ya...
Rancor Tooth - Replaces Sword Core in swords, makes for slightly higher damage with slower speed
Ackley Bones - Enhances Reinforcement Cores (power hammers, gaffi sticks, polearms, etc) - Big Bonuses
Krayt Tissues - Enchances Power Handlers used is most ranged weapons - Big Bonuses

On a side note, is there any need for me to keep stockpiling all of this heavy leather? I have around 20 pieces, and that was after I just unloaded a ton to Nyase. Same with the Crystiline Gemstone treatments.

Only if people are still doing the major Themeparks (Reb, Imp, Jabba). The schematics from those are the only things that require those loot components.

Check with your favorite tailors if you are looking to get rid of them. Be aware that their value has dropped. The demand is not there anymore.
