Regarding the race tracks

Well I just got my badge for fastest time on the Mos espa track and got the badge. Here is a little secret. Get up just as the server starts up (5AM pacific for me) but before hand log out right next to the race track droid. You should be the first to go and basicly you will automaticly win once you finish the track. I had to beat the best NPC time and that was 998 seconds I beat it at a slow pace of 564 seconds. This is an easy way to get the badges if you wake up right.

I really like having badges but I got to a point where I gave up. I still don't have any vette badges even though I have been up there 6 very unsuccessful times.

I could start ranting about buffs and the entire combat blance problem, but alas - why bother. I think everyone is sick of me at this point.

I agree with Jabe, I've never cared what badges I have or not. I know its fun for some people to collect so they go gung ho <cough><cough>Skarr<cough> but it just wasn't for me. I think it's because the first time I went badge hunting after swoops were brought into the game I hit all the Tattooine POIs and I was thoroughly disappointed. I mean you can't get in Obi-wans house, the Lars Homestead is blah and the Ancient Krayts were apparently brontsaurus. It kind of killed the thrill of badge hunting for me.

If you fellas in MERC need an excuse to do some high end content, I have the perfect character to set up a run on some of those missions (just not the credits to cover your expenses with profit).

Just let me know if you run out of fuel for your reactors and have a prefered set of times. I'd love to run the Vette or some of those nasty village quests with a decent crew.
