Good places to hunt

Can you advanced pilots share with us where the good placed to hunt are?

I am not an uber pilot by any means.. 2-2-2-1.. but I have been hunting Tier 3 tie fighters in a sector of Yavin called the Smuggler's Run. I took E-Li up as the gunner in my Y-wing and we got some decent XP.

I've noticed that the tier-2 Tie bombers drop components more frequently than the tier-3 ties.

Maybe I should expand the question to include places for groups of people to hunt, regardless of faction.

One thing I love is that they seem to be encouraging group play in space. I'd love to get involved with a group of people fighting stuff that is tough enough to require cooperation in order to succeed.

As a rebel, my "specials" are very team oriented and I would like to get a change to use them.

I've had some really good kills off of droid ships(those really fast ones--I guess it depends on your ship) where the xp was like 2k

Yavin is a good bet if you have a ship that can handle it...also Dantooine. The best fun I've had is doing some Lok sector stuff--I can't remember what sector but there is a sector with lots of asteroids that just rocks for XP.

That's great info! What level pilot are you? I am still 2-2-2-1.. can I handle those droid ships in a moderately equipped Y-wing?

I'm only 1/1/1/1.... i'm lazy. What I do is the missions for the guy in the Labor Outpost. Each Level brings more enemies in... = more exp. I just grind that for an hour, and i almost have a new level.

P.S. If anyone wants to try the gunner, i have a nice ol' Y-Wing ready

If your a reb or privateer on the first tier, then you need to be hunting in Lok Sector. Imps need to hit the Xwing cadets in Endor Sector, and privateers can also gain alot from the cadets.

Once you hit tier three, head to Endor again and hunt multiple faction tier 4's in sector d435. Lots of good xp to be made here.

I usually do my hunting in Yavin. Right now I'm 3322 and my weapons and shields hold their own pretty well. My capacitator is <1300 with a recharge rate of around 40. The best part about it is it only has like 4k mass. That means I'm shooting all day and never running out of power.

Yeah, I finally got a diecent cap thas about exactly like yours. However being 4433 means that advanced lazers still suck the juice.
