Deep Space, and a nice lil Star Destroyer...(pics)

to get to Deep Space you must be a master pilot with 30k prestige pts (30k xp past master) which can be gotten rather quickly for a master...then head to dathomir and find the right space station to launch out there...

for neutrals, you have to pick the reb or imp side to be on, and then normal faction overt pvp rules apply

but here's what i found out there...please notice the distance of the object and the size of the object at that range


that's right!! a Star Destroyer...if you thought the corvettes were bad with 7 guns, try 100 guns! not a typo....100 frickin guns...

well I had declared reb., and got a bit too close (1-1.5k) and then took this screenshot before hypering



there's also a reb base out there for imps to blow up, but i didn't see it before i had to jump

gah, for some reasone, i kept thinking you were saying Death Star. In beta, i went in deep space and saw that... i managed to fly over it 4 times, until the guns finnaly got me.

Oh the joys of Imperial might. I caught a few rebel NPCs stuck flying into her and couldn't move. And it's just lovely when you see those guns in action. Too bad they don't seem to affect the NPCs. So, I did her the favor of wiping out the annoying gnats. At the same time, I went to check out the rebel station. Doesn't look to bad, but with 20 guns compared to the 100 on the SD, I just laughed. Should've done a manual landing in the hangerbay of the ISD though and took some screen shots. Oh well, another time.

My favorite is the EJECT in the last pic.

But let me get this straight...if you're a Privateer and you want to go into Deep Space, you have to choose Imp or Reb faction?

Please tell me this isn't even remotely serious.

Also, how do you get the Prestige points if you can't get to Deep Space untill you have them, but Deep Space is the only way to GET them?

After you master pilot, you get prestige points instead of experiance points for ship kills.
