Informant Network

Howdy all,
First off, I just wanted to mention how much I've enjoyed playing Captain Vixor D'zod in this little community here. Without it I would just be another Imperial catching lines from Rebels like "I PWN THE EMPIRE, NOOB" and "THE EMPEROR SUXORS" all too many times.

I feel like I've been over-saturating the RP forums a bit with my stories. I hope you're not sick of them yet. My intensions are to help everyone understand my character and the role he has in the galaxy. I like to think he's unique and has something new to bring to the table.

So with that in mind I wondered if anyone was interested in helping me setup an informant/spy network. This would be a network entirely made of players in different areas of the galaxy each with different day-to-day roles who can provide information, whatever it may be.

So this could include a dancer in a seedy club, a smuggler based out of Corellian space, a Bounty Hunter monitoring who's paying what bounties, and so on. All of which would feed information to me for use in anyone's RP events. The information may be fed to you when needed or it may rest on your shoulders to create some information for a variety of uses.

Now I don't mean finding out Rebel Faction base vulnerability times or who is a covert Rebel. I leave the GCW up to the ISB and their simple little agents. This is for the seedier stuff in the galaxy, most of which many of you already seem to be involved in.

You will not be considered an Imperial for this or even a sympathizer. Rather you're just someone paid for information, and yes you will be paid based on the information you provide at the time. It won't be much buy hey you really don't have to do anything outside of RP.

The reason I want to do this is not only to immerse my character into the world of Intelligence Espionage but also to provide a resource to anyone running a RP event large or small. The network has already been there for Jabe's current event and I wanted to open it up to everyone else.

So if you would like to volunteer please do it by private message because we want to keep your identity a secret. If you have any questions or feedback I'd love to hear them so post those here.

Over-saturating?! I'm eating that stuff up. I may have Alliance sympathies, but there's very few things I enjoy more in SWG than a well played Imperial Officer (Griggs, some of the PC Stormies I've met, Kincaide a.k.a. "The Colonel", I'm still hopin' to catch Tramel someday.) Can't wait to get a chance to meet Vixor myself.

He is, but he doesn't go by Colonel. He prefers the title Field Commander.

Back on topic...

I like the idea as long as it is faction agnostic. Information is information. Rebel or Imperial should sould be nothing more than a possible part of a piece of information.
