IC Hunter and Mark Discussion

I think if the challange goes without being answered in 60 secs, then the duel challange needs to be aborted and the hunter /tell the mark OOC that a challange will be re-issued in X amount of seconds. This insures the mark knows that the hunter is challanging em...and a /tell used for the purpose of informing as to the mechanics of what their doing doesnt seem bad in my opinion.

I think the banter is up to both parties, if the hunter wants to banter and has a weapon drawn he can always threten the mark if they close in. You know draw the line in the sand type of thing "take one more step and it will be your last." or something on that line should do.

When I look back on my bounty and the moment I started to run, I think I should have freezed the scene and then set up the fight.

Can you duel more that one person at a time? Really, it should have been all 3 of you shooting at me rather than just Novall.

Yea you can /duel each person then they all accept, and you start runing.

Yeah, I think there should be a timeout to allow for the combat to be set up.. issuing of duels and all. Then have a fair starting point so the action can be resolved.

See I am not going to go through all that just to have to wait for them to get buffed for a fair fight. I will not send them a tell eaither telling them to be ready. The ruels of Bounty hunting is simple. Attack by surprise or do not attack at all. I rather have an edge over them.

2) Jaminos is not fair. He GETS THE JOB DONE. Jaminos perfers action over talking. I do not care who you are if you run from Jaminos he will shoot you in the head for running like a coward. Grant it Jaminos is not the strongest man out there. He is nothing compared to Boba Fett but that is beside the point. I myself rather hit them while their down then give them a chance to kill my charecter. Jaminos had died only twice in the past four mounth and each time was by NPC the uber guy on the lowest level of the imp weapons fas and that is only because the second time Jaminos's boots were destroyed so he killed his action the first time Jaminos was out of canape.

The Mark could be insane and run a looping macro that accepts all duels while IC... There would be actual fear just walking down a street in Eisley.

The only one to ever use a dueling marco that I know of was burbo and I remeber back when I was a combat medic I hit him with a mind desease so he made his macro end the duel faster.
