but awesome sculpture anyway. Its not Phoenix from X-men is it? I know Im a complete n00b when it comes to recognizing comics but so Im sorry

Yes it is Phoenix from the X-Men...Jean Grey became evil at one point while possessed by the Phoenix Entity and became Dark Phoenix....anctually, not really evil, but corrupted by ultimate power...it's a long story.

Actually not really Jean Grey either...

...but a clone of her created by the Phoenix Entity while the real Jean Grey's body slowly recuperated at the bottom of the ocean to be later discovered by Namor, the Sub-Mariner...

It's for the 2005 Comic Con, but they haven't announced which ones are getting it yet.

The more I look at that figurine the more I want it. I change my Christmas tree in some way everyday, rotating all my favorite ornaments from my childhood and such.

Goofy as it sounds, that Phoenix would have made it to the top of my tree for a couple days at least. Hanging from the ceiling over the tree...something. I think I can see it there Christamas 2005.

All I need to see now is one of those with Binary surrounded by a black whole or something and my journey to the Credit Card Side will be complete... Binary rocked.

Yeah, I used to be Chancellor of the Geekschequer and the Kwiesatz Hadergeek when it came to this stuff. Trying to...not...go...back.
