I prefer the Russian RPG-7 to the US militaries M-72 LAW for the simple fact that it can be reused. I would rather carry it with 3 rounds than 3 LAW's, although it is arguable which are more effective and or quicker to deploy.
Do they come with that red and white checkered head scarf? I don't think I have ever seen one without the other.E-bo Obi wrote:

I'd have to disagree with you there...the poorly constructed rocket for the RPG-7 make them unreliable at best and very inaccurate. Unless, you're lucky enough to only get Russian-made rockets to re-load with. Plus, the amount of explosive in the warhead of an RPG-7 gives you much less of a punch.E-bo Obi wrote:

Very true...and they'e cheap if you don't have a dead fanatic militant to pick one up off of. Last I heard, you could get round for an RPG-7 at a Somali open air market for about $4 in US currency...I think an M-72 round costs the tax payers about $250 a pop.E-bo Obi wrote: Now you can go just about anywhere and pick up an RPG-7 or ammo for it.
I believe the Marines still use them. I have a buddy in Iraq right now and he sent me a pic where a guy in the background was carrying an armload of them.E-bo Obi wrote:I believe they have been totally replaced by the AT-4 which is huge but packs a hell of a punch.
Haven't seen a live LAW in years.
