Stuck between ep4 and ep5?

Just wanted to see if you guys feel this game will ever move forward, Myself, I feel thig game will always stay where it is, and because of that, It will die off one day in the future.

It will move forward when Star Wars Galaxy 2 comes out. Not that they plan on a SWG2 just that they will only forward it when they deside "hey it's about time to try to rake all those who left back in with a shinier box." I would be cool to be able to be part of the Battle of Hoth or the Battle of Endor (I know Battlefield is out there but it's just way to laggy to keep trying to play).

SWG is too far along to screw up bad a second time around. Once you've done something once you tend to get better at it a second time around.

Problem though is that since the prequells are still fresh in our cultures mind the suits at SOE would be tempted to may it as "trendy" as they could even to the expence of the game.

I am not sure. The Clone Wars era has not captured my imagination like the Episodes 4-5 era has. I like the current era because the Empire is such an outstanding villain entity.

In a stretch of the imagination, I could see myself playing during the Old Republic days. Not the Clone Wars per se, but farther back.

I'd like to play one of the Master/Disciple Sith Lords that predate Palpatine. Maybe just one of their acolytes. Twisting events from the shadows...Knocking off the occasional being that got too close to exposing that the Sith still existed.

Rememeber "The Cloaked Figure" from the LucasArts TIE Fighter game? I'd like to RP a guy like him but during the Old Republic.
