but the casing ejector you see in the last crusade, and the way the gun folds forward is just like a webley. I have seen it said elsewhere that its a webley (after I had assumed it myself)
Hmmm, now that you mention it....
I gotta check that scene. Way back when, I originally thought it was a Webley too.

THE SPEAR OF DESTINY,
the spear that pierced Jesus side, which I saw someone mention, would be really interesting, because Hitler acctually captured it. There is some lore behind it as well. Like the leaders who captured it were unstopable until they would lose it.
there is a story I heard (hearsay) that a leader dropped it on the battlefield after several conquests, and was immediatley killed by arrows.
That one has some legs on it. Though I wouldn't mind them coming way out of left field on the contested item. Something that has been rarely heard of. I remember that the general populace had never heard of the Ark of the Covenant before it was "Raided" in '81.
I remember there was also a story about the Roman soldier who supposedly used that spear to stab Jesus. His name was Casca Longinus and in that act he was cursed with being "The Immortal Soldier" until Jesus' second coming. Former Vietnam Green Beret Barry Sadler, who also composed the "Green Beret Song", took that story and made a successful series of books with Casca as the main character. He'd always be compelled to become a soldier in whatever conflict he could get himself into and when he suffered wounds that would be fatal to mortal men, he'd go into a hibernation, heal up, and rise from the "dead" to fight again. Pretty interesting. Maybe he could show up in a movie like that ancient knight in
Last Crusade?
If anyone's seen the movie "The Seventh Sign" with Demi Moore, that Roman soldier character makes an appearance.
