Ok, so, that's a little dramatic. However, it seems to be an ongoing issue with any game out there. We find one we like and latch on to it. Indeed, we may stay with it for several months or even until the game finally goes flop a few years down the line. During that course though we meet all sorts of unique players that we'll never forget.
Some of us stay for the very slow trickling change hoping for the drastic changes we're always promiced. Some of us stay simply because there is an unspoken agreement that 'We'll see each other tomorrow' for that 'next adventure'. No matter the reason though; when it comes down to that last gorg I think the only thing we can do is follow the simple teachings of the wookiee Life Day. Remember these players. And if your lucky enough to know them out of game (even if it is only by email); keep them as a friend or just do your best to remember those golden moments. They'll never come again; Even if it is only a game.
Heh, I don't know that I ever really have a main point on forums. I just spout out this stuff as it enters my bizarre little head.
The Lunatic Fringer :P
When there just aren't any more gorgs to kill...
Sounds like it's time to move up in life. Have you tried squalls? They're even easier and don't really fight back. That, and it's always amusing to watch the gorgs beat the crap out of the squalls only to have a nightspider turn on them.
