Customizing and Personalizing Armor
Armor may be customized and personalized in mush the same way as weapons. The number of modifications that may be made to a paticular piece of armor is determined by it's type:
Light (Max Custom Mod: 1) (Max Person Mod: 1)
Medium (Max Custom Mod: 1) (Max Person Mod: 2)
Heavy (Max Custom Mod: 2) (Max Person Mod: 3)
Powered (Max Custom Mod: 2) (max Person Mod: 3)
The following is added for game relavance
Light-Clothing, Mabari, and Padded.
Medium-Chitin, Bone, and Ubese.
Heavy-Composite, RIS
Powered-no in-game armors fall into this catigory as of yet.
*Storm Trooper and Rebel Marine Armor cannot be customized or personalized due to millitary issuing standards.
A personalized set of armor is custom fitted to the owner and will not fit anyone else (Armor that has not been personalized has enough "give" that an individual of the same size as the originalowner can fit into it normally). Unlike with weapons, you may customize or personalize armor for use by others
What Can Be Modified
When you modify a weapon, you can change on of the following attributes.
*Reduce the armors weight by half or by 10 kilograms, whichever is less. This may done only once per suit of armor.
*Install an additional weapon. This option only applies to heavy and powered armors. The weapon can be medium-size or large, and may be a melee weapon or a range weapon (for ig rp purposes consider this a hidden compartment for the selected weapons storage). Each weapon counts as a seperate Modification.
*Install an additional peice of equipment. This option applies only to medium, heavy, and powered armors. Medpacs, comlinks, and sencors are common types of equipment installed in armor. Each peice of equipment counts as a seperate modification.
This has been edited for the practical uses of Star Wars Galaxies players
