So I am in Arizona this week at FT Huachuca for some training. I have been forced to stay on post. I say forced because I am a civilian employee of the government right now and they deem it necessary for me to live on their military installations when I take courses there. I could stay off post but they won't reimburse me even if it is the same cost as the on post housing.

So I grab their High Speed DSL bit and hook it up. There are all these BS warnings and if i decide to play a game I will get booted from the network. Why would the government run their own DSL in guest quarters? I KNOW it is cheaper for them to hire someone else to do it.

That all said I will post on here and maybe do some wardriving this week to try and get online. Thank god for clueless business people with wireless networks.

I can drive five minutes to my brothers apartment and pick up 7 unencrypted, SSID Broadcasting wireless networks...

That's just at his apartment... I'd hate to know what is in his whole neighborhood.

FYI not all people steal internet access just to surf. Some do it so that people can't trace the source of whatever activity they are performing online back to them. Just food for thought if you have an unsecure wireless network setup.
