Space Mining Information

This sounds very interesting. There is also an all new multiplayer ship specifically for mining. It looks really nice. They also are upping the amount of players that can be in a multiplayer ship at any one time. It is supposedly going to be about 30. Would make for some good parties.

That has promise! I think they need more of this type of stuff to make space more compelling. I am glad to see they are doing something in this arena.

And 30 players in space.. awesome! I hope they come up with a way to add latecomers without having to land the entire party. That could wind up being a hassle.

Sounds like fun. One of the most thrilling things about a game called Freelancer that I played was getting a load of valuables past hostile authorities and into a space station or planet where it sold for big profits...then blasting your way back out of that system again.

If the amount of area in space zones ever increases, I'd like to see faction responses introduced. Being aggroed at certain lucrative trading stations because of a negative faction rating would add a more dangerous feeling to space.
