Perks can be placed in a city, if you have zoning rights. They can also be placed in wilderness areas in much the same way as a scout camp is placed. Because these are temporary, they do not cost lots, nor do they add to your city maintenance costs. You will be limited in how many perks can be placed in proximity to each other. (Note: The devs have changed this so perks can be much closer in proximity than originally planned) (Note2:The Number of perk deeds you can hold at one time is 5) Once you place a perk, you will not be able to pick it up or move it.
Duration
Perks are designed for use at a single player event. This means all the deeds and the subsequently placed perks are temporary. <s>The time is not yet set, but will be made known by the promoter.</s> (The time is currently set at 8 hrs. for all perks) The timer begins to count down from the time the deed is purchased. Once the timer expires, the deeds and/or perks will clean themselves up and disappear.
