I got an aurilian banner today for only 240k!

the bad news is that's what it cost me in speeders to get it (12 blown flashspeeders @ 20k each replacement)

to get the banner you have to do these village patrols

each patrol is 8 points in a circle around the village, and there's a possibility that there's sith at each point...if there are 3 or less, you have to take em out, 4 or more, leave em alone

the problem is they aggro from pretty far...and if your in your speeder, or anywhere even remotely close to your speeder, they blow it up instantly in one frickin shot

now these guys are lvl 76-77, and I'm a lvl 80...is it reasonable that they be able to take out speeders in just one shot...even if you drive by them they'll get off a stray shot and blow it up

it seems a little to ridiculous...at least 2 or 3 shots, c'mon!

Yeah, I blew through 3 speederbikes last night and I only got through 3 patrols. The sad part was that I had a pretty good system going to take out the groups of 3 sith pretty quickly but there were so many other people doing the same quest that I kept having someone else's spawn pop up around me as I was fighting my sith. I managed to only die once...thank the maker for feign death!!

yep those aspects get ya too, although I didn't die, i did get incapped twice, but I happened both times to be far enough awway from the spawn, that after the incapp, they ran back


I forrgot to mention, you have to do 10 patrols (of 8 pts)to unlock the box...each time they get a little farther and farther away from the village..they start at about 500m away to 1k away after 10

then you have the option to do 10 more to get the banner
not each patrol gets 100m farther than the last one, so it starts at 1k and by the time you hit the last one each pt is 2k from the village, and around 1700m from each other

a lot of driving and boredom interspaced with exploding speeders

after using my varactyl all over kash, the answer is defiintely NO

My Varactyl is suddenly bugged where it tells me I don't have the skills to control it.

Every time I climb onto my Veractyl it says "You cannot Mount while riding a Mount." Good to know, cause if I could I'd join the circus.
