Well, he makes a few valid points, but personally I found the story compelling and emotional. Chalk that up John Williams score(especially the scene with the various jedi getting cut down RIP Ayla Secura

You had to see it coming. Although I did enjoy the movie, I agree with some of his assessments. And they were funny.

The guy is a true journalist.

His website (and possibly his livelihood) depends on him ripping the everloving crap out of everything. The more scandalous, the better, because it polarizes opinions. Either you love it or hate it, typically, and both are great for getting linked and increasing traffic.

I haven't read it (yet, will check it later today), but I'm of the opinion that if you couldn't have a good time at Ep III, there's something disfunctional about you. ;)

Yeah, I read it. I loved EP3 and really have nothing bad to say about it, sure I'll make fun of aspects of it, but I make fun of certain aspects of all 6 movies. He makes some valid points, but I bet he watched the movie and actually liked it...but, he's an entertainer and his deal is to rip on things that everyone likes in order to get a laugh our of some people and piss off a lot of other people. I respect him for that because he does a good job of it. I laughed really hard at some of the stuff in his review, but it didn't piss me off or anything, it just made me appreciate what he does and how well he does it even more.

Funny stuff, nothing more.

He did bring up some good points about the story not being very cohesive. Because he wasted to much time with pointless stuff in the prequels, the story points that required more depth did not get the attention they needed.

Specifically I am referring to 2 major points:
- Anakin and Padme falling in love
- Palapatine seducing Anakin to the Dark Side

The way the movies told those stories really left me wanting. Neither one was very believable.

Well I tend to agree with points for the most part which is one of the reasons I found this episode about as enjoyable as episode 2.

But I have a couple things I could add that might explain why nobody detected the storm troopers defection.

1. Maybe they had no knowledge of it until they were given the order. ie. many of their orders are instilled into their brains through programming and they just carry them out like a living robot.
2. Maybe they have no feelings as they are supposed to be perfect soldiers and thus there was no ill to feel from them
3. maybe being clones (and I don't know enough EU to know if this works) they aren't really force triggering things? That was worded poorly.

But I do admit that it wasn't the best film by far.
