Well its the end of the week so lets have some rants to speed up the slow day.
No big rants, like a thesis on the imbalance of PvP or anything. Just small rants. Here's mine to start it off...
It really bugs me when players use rare loot items on their vendors as clothing. For those of you who don't have vendors you can place any clothing and weapons on a vendor if you have the right merchant skills. YOU CANNOT GET THEM BACK. Tusken vendors don't bother me that much because you can get the stuff over and over but here's some that REALLY bothered me.
#3 - A vendor holding a Black Sun Executioner's Hack. This schem alone is hard to come by. It may not be the best 2-handed weapon but don't waste it on a damn vendor! I sell those things for a lot of money but this guy must of hand enough to just waste one.
#2 - The Marauder Armor on a vendor. This is a one per person item you get from missions on Endor. It may not be great armor but its certainly a big waste placed on a vendor.
#1 - Rebel Shirt - Rare loot from the Rebel Corvette mission - BIG FRIGGIN WASTE sitting on some vendor in the middle of nowhere.
But thats just what bugs me. What bugs you?
Friday Rants
You know you can loot these already made. Some have REALLY bad stats. That's probably what the story was with this one.Seret Sajet wrote:#3 - A vendor holding a Black Sun Executioner's Hack. Even though these are 1 per person, with the trial account farm system out, these things are a lot easier to come by.Seret Sajet wrote:#2 - The Marauder Armor on a vendor. Yeah, I can't excuse this one.Seret Sajet wrote:#1 - Rebel Shirt - Rare loot from the Rebel Corvette mission - BIG FRIGGIN WASTE sitting on some vendor in the middle of nowhere.
What bugs me are emotes like /spit, /punch, /slap because people can just come over and annoy you with this. I get it all the time (my characters aren't necessarily nice to the general populace) and if it gave you a TEF at the very least, I'd be happy.

Trash talking bugs me. It's one of those things that really just doesn't promote anything good. The other day I died to a BH when my buffs had dropped. I congradulated him on the kill and he was taken aback. He and 2 BH's will not hunt me anymore for this. Don't understand why people feel the need to use words harshly.
I case they didn't know, theres a person at the other end.

My own profession...I mean I love being able to help others and easily find work as a MD. But I can't find anything the least bit Star Warsy about buffs.
I'm just trying to picture the exciting battle of Hoth...with MDs buffing the rebel soldiers to send them to the trenches. Even if you go with "they're just using steroids" sort of argument, Han, Luke and Leia shooting up to battle the hordes of stormtroopers...loses perhaps some romance?
Small rant. Other than that, since I don't get to play enough to sit around making my own buff packs as well as play, what really bugs me is going across the galaxy to my trusted pharmacy and finding it empty of any buff packs. And then getting back to the shuttle just as it's taking off! Who's with me? :-)

I'm sorry, but did the RANT MASTER just tell people there is rules to ranting? I gotta rant on that.
Get back in your cage, monkey boy. We'll call you when they announce the Smuggler revamp is pushed back to 2006.

At this point, I am so numb to the Smuggler revamp that I already half believe you, and I know you're only kidding.Seret Sajet wrote:Get back in your cage, monkey boy. We'll call you when they announce the Smuggler revamp is pushed back to 2006.![]()

Y'know what buggs me? People who disband sologroups without any warning. Now, this may not affect many people here, but it happened to me twice last night.
Right now, Rori has great Wooly Hide. Rav Tortons are a great way to get this hide, but they are 10k missions and you need a large group (or an ATST). So, I got to Dant, solo group, run a few Janta missions for good measure, go to Rori, run my missions, then the group disbands. Now I have to go overt, pull the ATST and hide him in a guild hall, then run the mission risking losing it because it's a big piece of crap when it comes to fighting.
Ah well.

Just run the missions out of new prea and do what I do. Put them in the house I gave you rights to and threw a 50k entrance fee just to enter the house. If they want to blow it up, it's going to cost em 50k.
And what pisses me off is SOE in general, and especially their handling about the squad leader proffesion. I hear people are still being baned for using SL specials in cities.
There's several other things I can go on about, but I'm afraid the internet doesn't have the storage capicity for all of it.

That's not a bad idea. I'm going to probably stay around New Prae more often. I need to get more cetralized.Nyase wrote:Just run the missions out of new prea and do what I do.
