I don't really read, I always found it boring. Strangely enough I have no problems reading long texts on the web, but books have always annoyed me.

I can't wait until they start digitalizing more books. I have to agree I'm such a product of our culture that I have trouble focusing on reading. Admitedly, my attention span sucks.

To quote a famous line from a movie...

"Print is dead"

Anyone name the movie? Hint: the line is spoken in a library.

I stopped reading about 2 years ago.. around the time I said to myself, "Star Wars Galaxies huh? I wonder if this will be any good."

I only stopped reading for pleasure, apparently the people at the board of education believe that we should be forced to read in order to earn a degree. And apparently the more boring the reading the more money you will make when you're finished.

Man I'm going to be rich!

Sorry I forgot I need to add just about any R.A. Salvatore book to my list. Except for the book he kills Chewie in, why couldn't he stick with Fantasy where he rules? Poor Chewie.

 . . .Aaaawwww, I feel your pain, Kyanus. The English teacher cries with you.

Where to begin? I rarely re-read books, believe it or not, but there have been some I HAD to revisit upon occasion. I couldn't possibly put them in order, but here's my list:

The "Incarnations of Immortality" series by Piers Anthony
The "Harry Potter" series by J.K. Rowling
Any and all of the "Vampire Chronicles" and "Mayfair Witches" novels by Anne Rice
The Outsiders by S.E. Hinton (This one's probably here because I read it with my 8th grade Summer School students every year.)
The "Dragonriders of Pern" series by Anne McCaffrey
"Star Trek" novels by Peter David
The "Xanth" series from Piers Anthony
The DaVinci Code by Dan Brown (I find myself strangely intrigued by this one.)

There are undoubtedly more, but these are the ones that managed to come to mind through my Swiss-cheese memory.
