MERCS. What were about and what we do.

MERCS....its a word you all know well by now.

Origionally when MERCS first formed, its name stood for "Mercenaries, Enforcement, Reaquisition, Control Syndicate. MERCS for short. The idea behind it was to be a very rogue band of criminals that did all kinds of bad things for bad people. We followed those guidelines for a couple months, but slowly we started drifting away towards Bounty Hunting and mercenary work as our main jobs. Slowly MERCS became Mercenaries, then a couple months ago I decided to take the organization down a different route. Thus the Mandalorian Mercs were created to move us more in synch with the honor and glory of the mandalorian warriors.

MERCS "mission" is fairly simple. "MERCS works for credits."

I stress honorable battles in PvP combat and I also teach my members the art of "hunting" your prey as well as good PvP and PvE tactics single and group tactics. We dont have any allies other then the credit, and we have no enemies other then what credits buy us into. Its a methodology that is not always attractive to people, but a very "uncommon" one.

What I teach my newer members is taken from all of the Mandalorian information I could find on the net, in books, and from the movies. We test all of our members for every rank they attain. At lvl 50 we drop them in the middle of Yavin with no speeder and make them walk 6k back to the outpost. Living through that means you pass...failure is marked by death. As the ranks are progressed, teh tested become more modified for an individual. It is rare that an individual would recieve the same test as another. These tests are what will guide the trainee up through the ranks, and if they become a Journeyman Protector, then they know they have not only proven themselves to me...but also to themselves.

Anyhow, I think may of you have had questions about us after today....so maybe this will help clear the air a bit.

Though the mandalorians are long gone the teachings never died out because their way will never fully deminish. Mandalorians are the ultimate survivors. They have continued their way for thousands of years. Jango Fett may have been the last true mandalorian but he was only the last one to bare the clan symbol. Boba Fett can be considered one in a way butt he follows money more then anyones teachings but his own.

I have liked this idea for a while now and done my own rersearch plus alittle more by trying to wright them in my stories and try to bring them back to the star wars universe. Only a few can become Journeymen Protecters such as I and Kirt and a few others. Once accepted into this level we are loyal to our leader and will do anything without question. The glory of battle is what we live for. The hunt is our way of maintaining that honor.
