Thank you to everyone that attended last week. The party was a tremendous success. I was so glad to hear that you all had so much fun. We will be doing it all over again Friday in the Ruby Lake Cantina in Ruby Lake, Naboo at -196 -5436
The party will begin around 10 pm EST. Come for some RP, drinks, good tunes, and the Ruby Lake Weekly Chance Cube Lottery.
The party will be DJ'ed by DJ Vantro, and you can listen along with your external media players. Visit CvC Radio for more information about the radio station.
If you have any requests, send me a tell in game or you can send an MSN IM or email to DJVantro@hotmail.com
I am also in the process of setting up a request hotline. You will be able to leave me a voicemail making your request and you will hear yourself on air! More details on this should be available on my show Friday evening.
Ruby Lake Cantina Party: Friday Night 10 pm EST
Thank you for the spot of RP PvP tonight. We had a blast, and we proved the might of TTF's squad of Imperials
We are likely to drop by the event on a somewhat more regular basis (rebels and criminals beware) as long as there are no major objections. We'll try to roleplay it to get outside to not have any stray bolts hit any DJ equipment.
Also, I apologize for the lack of actual storm troopers and Imperial attire on some, but it was a last minute thing to head over. Also, since we actually came overt and there was the chance of Overt non-RP Rebels coming, we tended to want to have our good stuff on. Perhaps combatant would be enough to get the point across and reduce the non-RP zerging that ended up happening after the "official" fight.
Anyway, thanks again, see you all after the Roba next week!

I had great time. This is rapidly becoming my favorite event.
I enjoy trying to coordinate my dances to the songs the DJ's are playing. It feels more like real dancing.
It was fun seeing Zo, Toront, and their merry band of imperial thugs show up. Then later Czarian and the new and improved Evil Duox showed up to harass me.
You guys gotta learn that Ekade is better protected than the Emperor when she is in a cantina.
Don't mess with me there.
I am looking foward to the next event! Trasgo, get my Abba. You can't call yourself a DJ and not have Abba!

Hey! Ozzy covering stayin' alive was a good substitution I feel.

If my listeners drop like flies by playing Abba, I hold you personally responsible.

Does everyone like the mix of music? Is there too much of one style, not enough of others? If people want more music to dance to I could do that. I welcome feedback and will do what I can to improve the overall experience. I also like to try to play music that other people may not have had much exposure to. There is lots of good stuff out there that you normally won't here on radio stations.
I also want to utilize the radio to help player events. It is a great medium for conveying information to a lot of people at once. If people have events they want to advertise get in touch with myself or any of the other DJ's.

I think you've got a nice mix going on so far Trasgo. Love the some of that gritty Techno Raver... almost Industrial music you've been playing too. Perfect for the Breakdance and new Bun' Dance!

I enjoy the mix. I get to hear music I otherwise never would.
Just don't stick with one "thing" for too long. Like a good party DJ, you have to give us stuff to dance to and get excited about.
Don't fixate on "enlightening the ignorant masses" with obscure music selections. Some, like me, need a healthy dose of fluff and cover tunes!
