LOL, true I have to admit that it does have it's dumb side, but even moreso where does all the money go?
Every time I see the latest Star Wars tie-in/cross promo it makes me wonder where does that cash go. Slapping the Star Wars brand on anything is all but a guarantee that it will sell more than usual. And you know that no one gets to stand in the Lucashine for free. Lucas' companies aren't publically traded so does the cash go to making more for making's sake?
Maybe it's a Guiness Record attempt to see how many jobs can be generated from a single movie franchise. Because you know there's somebody out there feeding their kids off of:
"Let's see..ya think there's a market for Star Wars Steel-Belted Radials? Craftmatic Adjustable Bed? How 'bout 'The Clapper'? No! Slave 1: 'Dog the Bounty Hunter' Edition?....Yeah! Crunch the numbers, on that."
