Kejic made a cameo appearance at Scum and Villany night the week before last.

To me, he represents the group I call the "closet roleplayer". Meaning, the people who always wanted to roleplay but could not find anyone to roleplay with, so they just did something else.

It makes me happy that people like him now know where they can find some roleplayers.

And to derail the thread, as per my MO.. It is just me or do you see people wanting to be in character a little more than you used to? I am talking about the "non-roleplayers". Maybe I am being overly hopeful, but I feel people are getting more and more into it.

That pretty much pegs me. I fell in with CRIM and they turned me into a power gamer. I've always wanted to do RP but it just didn't work out cause I'd end up trying to stay in character while talking to people who had never heard of RPing.

Plus my character is a Pompous Jerk...that didn't make most people happy who didn't get it...

It got to the point where my roleplaying consisted of trying to anger people on the boards...

And the Pompous Jerk is even hard to pull of with roleplayers around. Though for some it works remarkably well. I know what you mean, it is very hard to RP amongst non-RP'ers.
