I just wanted to thank all of you here for everyone to see (even though a couple of you aren't registed here...gonna have to fix that) for all your help last night.
I had a great time and I hope you all had some fun being models for me. It'll be a little while before I actually have anything made with them (or, rather come up with things for Seret to make for me with them), but I'm sure you'll all get a kick out of what I have in mind for them.
I want to start coming up with some immersive non-combat oriented things for entertainers and crafters to do in a roleplay setting. I actually had too much on my plate last night to actually RP it to the extent I wanted to, but I tried to keep in mostly in character.
Anyway, Thanks a TON!!
Sepiv, Gi'am, Zoeii, Weyune, Akade, Tolie, and Ilseh...
And you will be loved and adored for this!!!!Zannon wrote:

Let me know if I can help you in any way to make this dream a reality.
I think you are on the right track already.. all us entertainers really want is fame, fortune, and fun (and roleplay).

Back in the day there used to be more interaction between entertainer and patron. I'd like to see that pick up again.
I am wondering if there is a way for entertainers to provide services in a PG-13 type setting. Table dances are always a touchy subject on the Dancer forums, and I don't have a good answer for that.
I picture a "businessman" trying to advertise his fortune and influence by hiring some pretty dancers to "hang out" with him while he is in a cantina setting. The entertainer would fetch him drinks, laugh at his jokes, that sort of thing. She could even make the initial contact with other patrons. "Here's a drink sir, comliments of Mr. Zannon." In addition, entertainers could be a communication medium, connecting various smugglers and pirates.

One of my objectives with Seret since before the launch of this game is to establish a network of operatives. People Seret knows and trusts that have specialities he can call on when needed. I don't mean lackeys or henchmen, I mean friends that he knows would be suited for a job, and get paid as well.
I now have just that with a few of my friends I've met through this game. I have financial backers (and launderers if I ever need it), assassins, spies, masters of disguise, covert operatives, and many more. People I call my "Network."
What I could use in this Network is a seductress. A female dancer who could do whatever she deems necessary to charm information from a subject. I tried establishing that with a Dancer a while back for my event, and she was very interested, but she turned out to tick off our whole town so that didn't work out. I needed her to seduce a Imperial Captain who likes to frequent the Mos Eisley cantina (not the Despot) in order to gain some info.
That Dancer would be very valuable to me. If there is any takers out there who think this fits their character let me know.

I would be tempted to create a dancer for just this purpose...
Naah.. i don't think I could play a female convincingly.... Do you need a gigilo?

Ekade could probably do this for you if you need her to, on a case by case basis. There are chracter issues that you would have to work around. If Seret could convince her it was for a good cause, I think it could fly. Getting information out a an Imperial Captain sounds like a cood cause already.Seret Sajet wrote:

Well every job for everyone in the network is case by case. He'd have to assess a few things. One, wheter Ekade would do it in the first place either as a favor, for money or another reason. Second, if she can handle it. Not that she's not tough enough, but rather if its too dangerous, would Seret put her in harms way, or if it requires her to go too far.Ekade wrote:Ekade could probably do this for you if you need her to, on a case by case basis. So basically I wouldn't approach you unless I thought you were up for it and if you'd accept. Thats how I see it.
As far as a Gigilo, there actually might come a time where Seret would have a job for a male with charm and wit. There are many influential females out there. Just keep in mind that includes Lady Valarian (yuk) but I'd never ask sometime to spy on an ally. Problem is Seret doesn't know you in-character yet. We'll have to fix that.

I nominate Keer! He could charm the twi'lek thigh ink(TM) off a dancer any day of the week.Seret Sajet wrote: As far as a Gigilo, there actually might come a time where Seret would have a job for a male with charm and wit.

Sepiv might be persuaded as well. Besides feeling a need to be desired (perhaps a manifestation of her orphan upbringing, to be wanted, as well as doing whatever it took to survive as a girl *ahem*), Sepiv has a natural thrill-seeking nature to her.
- Her time with the Sisterhood has taught her a great deal about herself, her strengths, her weaknesses...the darkside she lets be unleashed for control from time to time, like a hunger. It would be interesting to be able to exploit something like that in a broader role playing environment. Sepiv might deny it, but she really does enjoy being a center of attention (not exclusively mind you, but attended to).
And she also has accepted to a degree the transcience of everything. She's never had a permanent family and (even from the time of SWG starting) she's gained and lost friends/family along the way since she can ever remember. She is much stronger, at least on the outside than I am, to be sure.
I was hoping maybe I could give some insight into her feelings in a post about recent late night encounters at the Lucky Despot, particularly then later on as she enjoyed casually driving Coiy (hmm, rhymes with toy...lol) crazy. But it's hard--and part of me doesn't want to maybe reveal too much? She's 20, youthful, playful and outgoing, but also mature beyond her years in some ways...
Zannon, to get back to your post. You're very welcome! And thank you for the chance -- I think all the girls had a really good time. Anyway, I'd be happy to help anyone in making an immersive non-combat scene or event for role playing, definitely! *smacks fist into palm with determination*

Not big deal, I needed the screenshots ASAP, so I had to do it during the week. In the future, I'll plan on doing some stuff on the weekends during the day (US time) so the people in Europe can take part.Sorry i couldn't be there Zannon.
