Before you leave, let me just make one comment...

Everyone in this community is a RPer in their own way, some are better than others, while others just don't have the time to be a full time RPer. Whenever someone tells you that you are or aren't something, that is their opinion and nothing more. It really disheartens me whenever I hear someone from this community tell someone else that they are not a RPer...especially since I have been less of an RPer over the past few months due to work. Does it make me less of one? I'd like to think not. As long as you try to RP and what you're doing is RP to you, then no one has a place to say that you're not an RPer. We all have our moments where we're caught out of character and a lot of people that are part of this community I would not consider even part time RPers, but they are still RPers none the less.

The bottom line is, everyone is welcome here by the people that run this message board and this site. Don't let someone drive you off from a place you like just because they don't agree with what you consider RP...that's just silly. This site is dedicated to making SWG the online RPG it was intended to be, with or without the support of Sony and Lucasarts. Sure, a lot of us have had a number of things keeping us from making the aim of this site become reality, but none of us have ever given up on that hope. Real life just gets in the way some time.

An online community is like a huge family...a very disfunctional family, but a family nonetheless. That's why we fight from time to time. That's why we disagree from time to time. And that's why we all stay together. We're here to support eachother doing something we love...Playing SWG and RPing in the Star Wars universe.

my actions today where simple. nyvveck has an IG bounty for sharn's head. ive grown as a character very irritable and ready to kill on the drop of a credit. today kirt approached sharn. and he asked "how's sepiv?" not knowing WHO THE HELL KIRT IS i dropped into a fighting stance remembering that sepiv is in a similar situation to sharn (wanted dead) after talking to kirt in what is oh i dont know ROLEPLAYING IN CHARACTER i calmed down and talked. then nyvveck showed up.

he dueled ilias and myself and was beaten to a pulp quickly. meanwhile kirt is calling ilias and i "lame rp" etc etc. and telling me how many in the community dont consider me a roleplayer.

it is for this reason ive decided to delete all my rp contacts on my friends list and am removing myself.

all i do in galaxies is rp. i hate grinding its not fun for me but now to make my account worth my money thats all i will do. then sell it off on ebay

You know what? If you and your jedi friend want to pick and choose duels, but expect me to fight the both of you all the time (and not allow me backup, because you know...you can't duel my underlings...for some strange reason), and then DB, which, by the way, is not generally accepted in RP, that's fine.

If you expect me to think you are a good person after doing that, that's something else. I'm not gonna accept the fact that it was all just a misunderstanding, as the exact same thing happened at the trial (I accepted four or five duels, you guys accepted none).

Are you a bad RPer? No, you're just like almost every other RPer I've met. Am I going to be sad to see you go, or to have you imply that I am forcing you to go? Not at all. The galaxy is filled with people that RP the exact same way you and your jedi friend do. And, if they all decided to leave as well, that would be fine with me.

I understand that this topic is a flamefest waiting to happen, and I was very hesitant to reply. However, you obviously don't understand the problem. When someone /ends a duel midfight with one person but keeps it going with the other person because it looks like he is on the right track to losing, that offends me. Sure, I could have stood there and killed Ilias without fighting you, but that would be unfair. I dueled both of you, and expected to the same courtesy to be given to me.

However, Ilias ended the duel with Kirt. At that point, I was through dealing with him. I just stood there and died. I have no intention of interacting with people that expect me to fight their minions, but will not fight mine because they feel they have to win all the time.

Do I have much of a problem with you? Not so much. However, you are guilty by association. Is that a morally correct thing to do? Probably not, but you know what? That's the way the world works.

So, for the record, I really have no big problem with Sharn, but the company she keeps.

FIRST at the trial the only duel i had was with -YOU- none of your "underlings" attacked me. kirt didnt duel me today. you fought solo. i dont know what the h e double hockey sticks was up with ilias. i TRIED to stop him from the DB but he has mentality of pvp combat because of BH's so i cant blame him.

sharn fought IC because nyvveck has a bounty for HER LIFE so she wanted to beat him senseless drag him to a room somewhere and convince him at blade point that removing the bounty on her and sepiv would be advantageous to his continuing health. but no ilias DB'd and i got angry at him for it. then you ignore me. when im TRYING to explain what happened and try to continue the actual roleplay.

as for kirt's "duel" not ONCE did i see "kirt viza challenges you to a duel" appear on my screen and not ONCE did i see it happen at the trial either. all your underlings where going for the big bad jedi because its cooler to screw a jedi than fight a tka.

so before you shoot your mouth off again nyvveck and kirt THINK for two seconds. if you had won that duel i would have continued in the same fashion you would have chosen. but instead the people that got pounded whimpered and cried with their tails between their legs.

its only a RP if its kirt or nyvveck standing victorious i guess
