RP AId Request

I dont know if people have the info already, but I'd like to see some info on the various religious cultures if there is any.

I know Ekade has her Goddess thing going and I dunno if that's real lore or just some creativity, but it would be nice to see information on basic principles, common ceremonies and such.

I actually got to thinking about this line of thought as I was out shopping with my Ithorian and bought some priest clothing along with some others. I thought to myself, "Self, I wonder what kind of religious structure the Ithorians had?" If nothing else, it would give an otherwise boring crafter some RP opportunities :)

My tip would be to ask Jerrel if he has any o' them source books lying around that have religion in em.

If not, I think you may be SOL on finding religion for your toon.

Dont have the info in hand at the moment but I do know that Ithorians basically worship their planet and call it Mother Earth or something along those lines. They have a reverance for nature and only holly men can actually set foot on their planet. The rest in them resided in giant floating cities called Heard Ships. The Holly Men claim to be able to communicate with the plants and so believe that their conection to their planet in this mystical way is force related.

The Ithorians were originally from the planet Ithor, a lush, green, tropical planet. The Ithorian religion is rather unusual as well, as all Ithorians worship Mother Forest, which is their way of vowing never to harm the environment. Though they are primarily pacifists, Ithorians are extremely fond of planets, trees, flowers, and anything which is grown. It is their job to cultivate it, so that others may enjoy them as well, without harming them in the process.

Google

There is also some mention of their society in the one NJO book where Ithor is destroyed my the Yuuzon Vong.

Thanks everyone, if no more information can be found then this has still given me enough to go on I think. :)

There's both. The EU gives us a few things about Twilek Culture, History, and Religion. Most of the good development comes from fans. As such, some of it is really good and some of it it really mad. Of course, this is subjective.

I take the stuff that makes sense, and create my own stuff on top of that when I need a deeper definition of a particular concept.

If you want to find out about basic principles, the best thing is to do is attend Templ events and/or RP with Templ characters.

When is a good time for you to meet with a Templite? Perhaps a missionary can be made available.

We should try to have one soon as it sounds like there is interest.

Let me talk it over with my Templites and we will come up with a theme. :D
