What can we do to Prepare for the NGE as a Community?

It strikes me as important to consider what we can do to prepare for these comming changes in game and out as it were.

As Guilds, Players, Player Cities, and as a general Forum Community; What can we do to prepare for this?

Are any of us losing enough people to this to consider Guild Merging?

Same question for Player Cities?

I know some of us here have or are doing one of the the following:

1) Deffinately staying with the game.
2) Taking a wait and see approach.
3) Have flown the coupe.

Opinions on this? Discuss.

If some of our Player Cities are in danger to 'Fall Out' as it were; We can start doing something about this now. This is just one example how I think we can work together to make some things happen before the sky 'Falls' dramatics come into play.

Thus far I don't see many overall changes for myself. It looks as though Temple still plans on being around and, near as I can tell, would be happy to remain with Nocturnus.

With collective thoughts in these areas maybe we can help each other out where needed.

I'm sure there are things I've probably not mentioned as well. So feel free to add ideas or concerns. Maybe we can come up with a solution.

It may help to see what our goals are as individuals, guilds, and cities are or will be upon NGE. Then we might be able to better handle swallowing the NGE pill as it were and better direct our RP.

Well, I know I am sticking around. I'm just not sure how I can help. I intend on being a jedi for rp purposes as well as that was where Aknal was headed eventually anyways. /ducks other jedi throwing stuff

I know it will be a big adjustment, but I think we can pull together and get through this alright.

I have been spending a lot of time in personal preparations. While not quite on topic of community, I thought I would mention a few I have done.

The first I did was replace some of my pets with level 10 pets. (Most were high level) Those that know me know that it's part of my RP to have a pet seeing eye dog. (in my case a cat) With no way to train pets after NGE get them while you can if you want a companion. Don't ask me tho, my datapad is full. (I think they will eventually phase them out, I hope not)

My bank is full and inventory usually over 90%. I am going to make some room in bank and pack. This is in case we are given some of the lower quest items when we respec. (can't find anywhere that tells if we are or are not going to get stuff on respec)

I know some crafters are going to clear there vendors. These people lost everything they had on them when the CU came out. They are taking no chances. I personally didn't have a prob with this so will not clear mine.

If anyone has any other "just in case" preparations I should do, please let me know.

Personal note here... I jumped the gun on this thread for personal reasons. I figured 5 days before NGE hits it'd be nice to have something like this up instead of after it hits.

However, what I should've done was give credit where credit was due and mention this idea really is Hashum's idea. I hope the process and idea behind posting this is still intact though. Hashum, this is really your arena, not mine. Sorry for not waiting till you got more input back from the other threads.

Personally, the day before the NGE hits im packing up my houses and store houses just for a worse case scenario, other then that I await this change with open arms. I think on tuesday, or even wensday, it would be a rather good idea to run hunts as a group to get everyone used to this rather large change in combat.

im up for hunts anytime, though i will need to be using a pistol or rifle after i get my change in.
