working the specials got a little easier after I recovered from the newb "who am I, What's my name, where an I going, Why...." shock.

I opened keymap and fixed a few things, like set the f1-f12 to work my quickbar, and some other crap. Fooled around and dug up some battle armor and a regular non-CL80 DL44 metal. starting to think that Spy isnt all that great, and Im wondering how I can tell if I am invisible or hidden... that would be nice.

I figure once I get sneaking around I will like the stealth specials. Especially in guildwar situations. The only thing is I hardly see a point in them, when I cant move at all without breaking it and snaring myself. In other games when you stealth your character (avatar) goes transparent, and you automatically move slowly. This is just kinda jake.

and, why would they have spy wearing recon in the PREVIEW FOR SPY when you cant wear recon??? another issue of false advertising, just like the TV commercial showing a non-existant race.

overall I think this has potential to not upset my stomach, but they need to make more changes rather quickly. a good starter would be to unlock armors for all profs... because seriously... that just pisses me off.

now just need to figure out how to keep targets selected without holding the curser on them.

I thought that once you hovered over something, you targetted it?

I remember in TC, I was targetting Chewie for the longest time while trying to board the damn falcon because he was the last thing I hovered over before running into the invisible wall. I could see his little ham bars next to mine the entire time.

Since you seem to have a better handle on NGE combat then most folks think you might be up to organizing a little Tales sparring session for the masses here? Where we could all get together with our various jedi, um I mean professions and spar/duel to learn how to survive in our brave new world.

Ok by me... I still have no clue what I'm doing right now. But I'm having a blast. Certain areas are still group required... I'll tell ya that much.
