Medic Medic!!!

Medic has lots of issues here at the beginning:
- Can't seem to do the one buff left - nutrient injection - and I think it's a whopping +50 from what I've read anyway so who cares
- Very glad I didn't spend more on buffing packs or specials because they're all completely worthless now
- I can't seem to heal myself since I can't target myself...which makes lots of sense for the group's medic
- Seems like medic is more like a bioweapon than a character to keep her team fighting on -- fighting side-by-side with Aknal he seemed to heal himself about the same pace that I could as a level 80 medic...we both got incapped but I know, we're n00bs again
- I think a level 80 medic can take out a level 80 jedi unless the jedi is just a better pvp runner, jumper, whatever -- two words: caustic cloud
- I couldn't figure out the bacta drip for the life of me--in theory sounds great: a continual heal for a period of time...in practice is it working?
- Heal anyone and be stuck in combat mode until...you can stop it
- Guess us medics need to run out and pick up our battle armor or maybe recon armor...one or the other, they don't really know
- Sounds like medic specials given to new characters working their way up aren't given to us (medical backpacks, bracelets, etc) -- how nice...

You will get all the items in the next hotfix. It should be coming in the next couple days. Make sure you have 20 inventory spots available.

I was having the same issues, Sepiv. I'm disappointed with how medic doesn't seem as much a support profession as it is an offensive one. I respeced to Officer out of frustration after looking at the SOE boards for Medic...it appears there's only area heals, heal-over-time, and then the biowarfare stuff.

I want to respec back to Medic and give it a try though and try to learn what I can from it, though from what I hear on the SOE boards some of the specials are broken (some of the low level heals, I think). Can we get together and compare notes in game soon?

Just as a side note, make sure you clarify with Sep whan you ask her to log on and play doctor with you, you might be in for a suprise
