maybe I am just thick and didn't get this right away, but using the healing specials during combat you cannot be clicking on a live target or they will not work. Just figured this out yesterday and I live much longer now :)

Yeah none of the defensive specials seem to work when you're on target. I'll stop ranting before I get started.
