I've recently met quite a few customers in their teens and twenties who have never seen a Star Wars movie and are proud of that fact.

Pah! I got a call from my wife last week. Our nine year old (ewok #1) was home from school with a cold, and had chosen to watch Star Wars (ANH). Her opening line was "Guess what your geeky son is doing".

The children are the future ;)

Well, that is how we were introduced to Star Wars...at home, by our parents.

My 3 year old now knows most of the main characters from the original trilogy without having seen them thanks to me, the muppet show, and some books. She also hums the imperial march lol.

I think SWGtales should change formats to be a "how to" website for parents raising nerdy children.

I mean, we already have that demographic covered pretty thoroughly, I think. My kids are doomed, I am sure. Between my pale skin and my fiance's terrible eyesight, they will be a bunch of pasty, glasses wearing nerds who don't go in the sunlight and stay in the basement all day watching sci fi movies.

ah...i remember the week after i saw the Empire Strikes Back remake...... i never let go of that lightsaber for a week.....i even took it to pre-school and beat random kids if thay made me mad......o the good old days.....
