Are space abilities mission based still? Or can I get master pilot now without dealing with the missions?

It looked a lot like the xp was dinging in the same way ground xp is so far... but what little space I've been doing I've also been doing the missions on. So, couldn't tell you if your required to now or not.

At the space to ground xp rate they also turned on for this... quest xp and ground grinding still looks better in comparison.

um...thay give combat xp now for your kills...and its 2xp for space combat
