Offer: NPC RP

I have ideas of my own, but before I roll a new character with my newly offered extra slots come NGE-Day, I wanted to offer out that I'd be willing to work with people like...making a character that might be like, a relative, arch enemy, long lost friend, or something of that sort.

Very often we play our own Sig-Os, whether it's an enemy or a friend, and I think it could be fun to play someone else's. If you're interested in this please gimme a PM and we'll like, talk about stuff.

Edit: Since I think I made no sense...here's what I told somebody when I was trying to explain it a little better...

Like if someone wants me to make a character for them that's their brother, their sister...their long lost ex, their mute cousin twice removed that they thought died in a fire, their old boss come back to claim the eggbeater they borrowed five years ago....I'm willing to play that for a time or work it into a character concept. Rather than just make up a new one on my own.

Basically the idea is to help other people make connections with their characters and foster RP with the community, forward character development...etc.

(This may be totally stupid. But, I think it'd be great if other people offered the same thing and we had a sort of NPC Exchange kind of thing just for fun. Both temp NPCs and long-term chars.)

I think that idea is brilliant. I'd like to make the offer too. I really don't have an idea for a character but want to do something Imperial since that's so opposite of Jinx. Male or female, doesn't matter.

As for personally, I feel too selfish to ask this but I feel like I left a RP gap with Jinx on purpose -- her being an orphan with a mysterious origin and all. I've dreamed about a sister (or a false sister?), brother, someone who claimed to know her parents, etc. I'd love for such an opportunity but how to make it more involving with other storylines that are out in the community so it's not some self-centered Jinx story but related to enrich someone else's story...

By the way, I would also like to say that I think that the idea is a sound one. It could be very interesting to see what happens. (See, I'm not off topic)

Rebecca's been searching for her long lost brother for years... But there has been no mention of it in game. Seriously... She really has.

On other notes in this post...
I definatley think my alt is going to have to become Imperial.
Either that... or a long continual list of alts that die off.

I really really think its a good idea for those of us without the time to grind up a second character... To introduce low level NPCs into the group, and kill them off.

I mean... A character that's soul purpose is to die and impact the community. Wether it's that strange new merchant that nobody knows there's a bounty on... or that cute new twilek who's so charismatic. and free-spirited (who unfortunatley ends up being killed by a villian of our community.) Or perhaps that rebel... who voices their opinions too much, and the Inquisition makes an example out of. Since death is something that our characters rarely have to deal with... It would be an interesting concept.

I'd also suggest these characters meant to die don't take on the role of villian, unless once again... the purpose of the villain is to die. We all remember Whars bounty hunter quest.

Yeah, that's happened with my alts a lot, only they end up not impacting the community a ton. What's hard is making people care, though sometimes it only matters that you've affected the one or two people that you RP with. See the beauty in the mountain and the pebble, blah blah blah. Besides, kinda takes the fun out of it when you have to TELL everyone to care.

since i dont even have a character template setup yet for my new toon. ill be happy to make a similar offer. since everyone in the game hates sharn it might be fun to actually get to know my style with an alt

Id be happy to use my alt slot as a character that can actually perma die... and just re-roll it whenever someone needs an expendable RP character for a story? Im not into grinding at all... just Rping so if anyone needs that when the slots come open please let me know.

Also happy to help up with my main Jeze'bella too although that one I need to grind as she is still level 1 and I missed out on the tutorial signing up 2 days before the NGE. But I do have the respec token your all talking about so guess thats a good thing

Um, I'd like to point out that Jart was a total surprise to Xyryn. And it has worked out well, tho' we just do casual RP.

It was and is fun to have a close relative around...and another hostage to fortune.
