Gorath Live Event February 10, 2006 Liberty Fest

The event is scheduled for Friday February 10, 2006 right by the shuttle port in liberty on dantoine.

It is an event open to anyone on the gorath server, to try to attract more members into Liberty and our guilds. It will begin around 8:30 pm Central time. We will be having a meet and greet, and will be having dancers and singers in liberty.

At 9:30 central, we will set off as many fireworks as we can possibly get our hands on, to welcome our special guest.

Our guest, our town mayor, and myself will serve as the Masters Of Ceremony, and will give the rules for our race / scavenger hunt, and we shall distribute the PVP Chaos Items. There may be a slight limitation on Multiplayer speeders, to keep the race fair.

After which, any who participate will break into groups of 2, and will sign in with the Race droid, and our own Mayor, Steff will give the signal for everyone to go.

After that, it is every team for themselves. The first team to return with all the designated items, will be the winner.

The first 3 teams, will all be given prizes.

The final results of the race, and pictures from the event will be posted on the Luck / Liberty / LF -1 website.

So please, be prompt, have fun, take plenty of picture, and have a great time.

This is my first attempt at a large scale event, so please help me make it a good one!

Yup, djs Ar and Ar are very entertaining.

We will be having the entire event broadcasted on the Liberty Radio station all night, as well as interviews with some of the racers, so check them out too. We aren't trying.

BTW everyone for people who also wanna know, in Eastern Time, the event begins at 9:30, with the race baginning at 10:30.

And another email I got asked me about the Dev support for the event. Yes, this is a Dev supported event, and we will be having an NPC special guest, who plays a large role in the Galactic Civil War, and will be stopping by to oversee the festivities.

Very excellent.

Had close to 30 players there for fun... then we also had like 10 ppl show up when they found out han solo was there... because they actually thought that han would be an attackable NPC. LOL

Had like 10 teams in the race/scavenger hunt... They had fun.

Only down side, was that for some reason the LIBERTY radio station went down about 3 times throughout the night... which was a pain, but it has been fixed and didnt have another problem all weekend.
