I didn't know it was possible, but my wife flushed her cell phone down the toilet.

We was wearing sweats and a hoodie, bent over to grab something while water was going down, and PLOP! The cell phone fell out of her pocket and is now one with nature.

Somewhat related... someone gave birth sometime this past week to a newborn and... yeap, you guessed it, right in the toilet no less. Luckily, the newborn did survive.

Maybe we need to make the toilets smaller?

yeah, the part that amazed me was that this is a fairly big cell phone. We had to buy two new ones thanks to ATT selling out to Cingular... but everyone gets on me about having outdated crap anyway.

I will have to upload the pictures, but I spent Vday taking my toilet up off the ground and trying to get the poop laden cell phone out of it's inner workings. The cell phone didn't leave the toilet, but was jammed inside causing a turd traffic jam. Getting it out and dealing with the problem is one of the worst experiences of my life... I just kept telling myself it was stinky mud...

my wife came in once I got the toilet base back on the floor and took some pictures of the phone.

Not much to see except me pulling the poop out and throwing it in the drain, then trying to use a coathanger to force the phone out while holding the toilet bowl upside down. The phone had just collected a big ball-o-turds and restricted the flow of water.

Was freakin terrible.

When I was trying to put the toilet back together my wife is yelling "you want to start the grill? It's getting dark!"
I can't win.
