Before SWG, I played mostly PS2 games. I have always had at least one video game system in the house. I currently have a PS2, XBox and a Dreamcast(only for the orginal Soul Calibur =) and I only buy event games such as the awesome KOTR 2 coming out December 5th. My first Star Wars game was Masters of Teras Kasi for the original PS. This is one of the worst Star Wars games of all time, but I had a blast playing "Arden Lyn" a Teras Kasi Master. I also dabbled a bit in the collectible Star Wars card game but I couldnt't find enough people to play that one.
I am an avid gamer with a short attention span. I can't tell you how many half completed games I have on my shelf(uh Enter the Matrix) and some I just play quite abit(Soul Calibur II). Does anyone watch Xplay on TechTV? Usually have some interesting stuff on their, albeit their reviews are extremely late. Who am I kidding I watch it for Morgan Webb..

Console games and Arcade games for me. Still catch me playing Dance Dance Revolution, Street Fighter, or Tekken in the local arcade on occasion.

Well before SWG, I only played console games. I still do somewhat, but SWG is my main staple....
When I first heard about SWG from Zannon, I immediately fell in love. He told me about it months before the beta even started, and he showed me screenshots which blew my mind. As soon as I heard you could be a Zabrak, I popped a chubby. Who didn't? Who hasn't dreamt of being DARTH MAUL!!!???!!!
The computer I have right now was custom built through Monarch Computer Systems, and was created for the sole purpose of playing SWG... school funtionality came later...
I hadn't done much real RP before SWG came along... My only exposure to it was 2 nights of Shadowrun (which ROCKED), and some D&D, neither of which were video games. Console RPG video games were a little exposure but they don't compare to a game like SWG.
I love console RPGs to death (i.e. The Legend of Dragoon, FF anything, Xenosaga) but there is not much room for the player to RP, you just play along for the story.
But back to the original intent, I played console RPGs like the ones stated above before SWG. Now SWG is about all I play... go figure...

Before SWG...uh...I remember consoles...I think. Yeah, I used to use those. What did they do again?
Really, it's been SWG and Halo only since launch...and now the offspring thereof occasionally. Prior to that, only a rabid blur of console games.

Before SWG?...
*eyes become unfocused and then clear*
I had a life! Worked with Poser & Photoshop. Played some Neverwinter Nights. Spend too much time at work. Go out with friends, Ocassionally mess with my camera or do a drawing!
* eyes glaze over and voice becomes monotone*
Before SWG? there is no before SWG.

I remember some game I tried but the title escapes me. Something about your the character who has like a limited time to do something in a post apocolyptic world..man I just really cannot think of the name. Well you can tell how much I liked that one. Probably will suddenly remember sometime at work tomorrow..lol I also tried Neverwinter Night..I thought it was kind of fun, playing my Druid and getting to change into animals. I had also played in the occasional D&D games with my brother and our friends, but those have kind of panned out due to RL issues. Then the boyfriend bought a copy of SWG for himself and at first I wasn't interested. Then he let me play the character he had at the time and I was like this is actually fun. Of course this was back at the start before the RP community on Gorath got established. So he got me a copy and here I am.
Sadly I too have slacked when it comes to art. Occasionally I'll get inspired but nothing much usually comes of it. On the up side Ive probably written more for RP purposes since really getting into RP on Gorath, then i have in most of my life.

I dabbled with a few "RPG" games like Diabo and Baldur's gate. Also PnP D&D. I used to watch TV and read... don't do that anymore.

Would that post apocolyptic Rpg happen to be called Fallout ?
