I really liked it but I'm more of an In-game RPer

Most of what was written is naratives of what happened in game. With some creative additions so the stories mesh with others that are involved.
For instance, Hojo found the Rodian NPC and RPed taking care of him. Rebecca, Weyune and I also found the Rodian NPC and RPed taking care of him. Well... there was only one Rodian NPC and Hojo had already posted the what and how he took care of him. So, I added the two guards to our story as stand ins.

Ive found it hard to get into any of these RP's becuase none of them have anything to do with my character at all, I really can't think of any reason for him to care at all about Dariis' monastery or any of Dwilah's stories and etc. etc.
I'm still trying to figure out why he cares about Grieves

Jedi2B has done an incredible job roleplaying him and doing IC posts as him. "In This End of the Galaxy.." "Imperial Holonet Hub" as Grieves and you really get a sense of how twisted and evil a character he is.
Don't forget Isratt met him that evening at the Mos Eisley cantina, when he found Weyune. He would have seen a glimpse of how Grieves mind revolved and it seemed as though Isratt had formed an opinion. Im not saying it should be because he felt sorry for Weyune, as I of course have no right to decide that for Isratt, but you can look at the posts and maybe Grieves affected something in Isratt's past. Supposedly Grieves was thought to be dead so maybe it happened in that time frame. Just a thought

Start with some of the biggest questions. Such as "What side does he fall in the conflict and why?".
You may want to answer some other non related questions first.
"Why does he act so abrasive?"
Don't feel any pressure to have the answers right away either. Just answer what you can when you can and with something that you're happy with. Once you have a few things to go by, the answers get easier and easier.

So you next question is.. How can you benefit from this situation?
There is your "in". If you are a self-serving SOB, then look for ways you can take advantage of other peoples misfortune for your own personal gain.
Anything is possible in RP. If someone tells me that cannot think if ANY reason to get involved, it takes me about 2 seconds to dream up a reason why they might.

I am not a self serving SOB so its not purely for my personal gain but when it comes down to it if I have to choose who comes out ahead and alive its gonna be me. So I'm not sure how any of this would benefit me. Any ideas?
lol least your not like me

I'm inbetween a character shift. I just abandoned Dariis and his temple for personal gains and am now seeking Situng for advisement. So basicly im halfway between bad and good at this point and the whole akura story just complicates my life even more. Which is awesome because the more stuff to do the better!

Well here's a good example of how any character can be involved.
My character never had any knowledge or contact with Grieves. He also hadn't had any real contact with Batak or Vreese. The only reason he has had any reason to involve himself is his friendship with Isleh and Weyune and his history with Jabba.
I took a history Ive rp'ed from the start and have used it to give my character a motivation to get personally involved at risk to his own life.
If you want to do some really fun Rp'ing this story arc is the perfect chance because it effects so many areas of the Star Wars universe. My hat goes off the Jedi2b for helping to drive it. Been a great ride so far!!

I want to thank all that played along the other night at the Roba. It played really great, and I just wanted to tip my hat to all those that helped out.
As for characters, well. My situation goes from bad to worst. From almost killing two people inadvertently, to getting jumped in a cantina. I think the only good thing coming out of this so far for me is the Doc that healed me in Dohiran. Thanks Dwilah ;)

Sort of "I'm not in this for you rebellion princess, I'm in it for the money."?
In the end, Han had a change of heart. Would your character do the same or would he have actually took the money and run?
Do you fight in the galatic civil war? If so, which side and why? If not, Why?
Take what IC information you have you character react how you think he would.

My character can have a change of heart but the settings need to be extreme, so if any of you want to me me as someone who cares about your lives give me an extreme setting one day and I'll change.
And I don't currently fight in the war. Im a neutral and a freelance pilot.
All I and some others know at this point is that my character is gathering as much information about Grieves as possible. I have several times mentioned I'm doing this for a client, but that was my sneaking way of getting the info i wanted.
My involvement with Weyune and Vreese is peripheral at best at this point, even though I might have lead them to believe different this was all just me twisting them around my finger for more information.
Now.... lets see what i can do with all that I have compiled right there....
