my first pc jedi bounty

That doesnt make you an ass, that shows you know tactics.
I know that doesn't make me an ass, it just makes me get called an ass. You see, I took down both Jedi with the sniper shot. Once after a jedi won a duel, and the other after a different jedi had defeated two bounty hunters. Boy, were those hunters pissed at me... Probably still are.

Meh, they're just upset because I thought of it first.

^ The essence.

THIS is the type of threat that I'd personally like to see more of in the criminal side of SWG. The above scenario would be the motivator to stay low profile in several of the Player Bounty patch ideas put forth on the SOE Smuggler Forums going back to Launch.

Not every Smuggler player would be for it, but there could be an "accept/decline" option at a certain point so no one would be gated into PvP.

Right now as a space crook, the only threat that I face is the lightweight Imperial contraband scan (8 for 8 successful evasions so far). Accepting a duel in a pre-meditated fight with a BH is one thing. But being on the lookout for shadows after defaulting on a spice delivery...grimy, son, just grimy. :D

But I'd better steel myself to wait longer. Even with possible NPC Bounty Hunters in the multi-part Smuggler Revamp to come, Player Bounties would probably not come along for a long time after.

The game doesnt promote "filling" the role, just playing it. Thats where the root of the problems lie.

Of course you could always use the Bounty System here to feel hunted and then you don't have to wait for SOE :)

I'm not discounting the system that I know many have worked on. The hard work isn't lost on me, believe me. I appreciate it. It's just that the following is what I was getting at in regards to that.

I do look forward to participating in the current system as soon as I can. :)
