apples and oranges

This is a very difficult question, one that I'm sure the creators of this game many years ago had to ask themselves. The realization to this question is that it can't be done. To create an MMORPG in a star wars realm that coincides with the timeline as well as allowing individuals to survive (clone) and have choices (become jedi) is not possible. So the galaxy that has been created for us has its little 'tweaks'.
The question should be how do you 'tweak' your interpretations of this galaxy? I think without a doubt that the storyline should be followed. I'm a stickler for detail and I have enjoyed reading (almost) all of the novels, comics, short stories, etc. that have detailed this galaxy. It is a joy to see the continuity held in star wars as more products are available for us to experience. Unfortunately almost all other science fiction 'worlds' have been extremely inconsistent.
The biggest issue is the jedi situation. They simply should not be in plain view and in my opinion, the 'wannabe' jedi's are just that...wannabe's. They can fling a lightsaber in plain view of others to prove that point.
Jedi are simply not being trained during this time period....period! No one can dispute this because the Man-Lucas himself says so. To say there are jedi that exist during this time period is true. But unfortunately we should never see them. Some players rp jedi superbly, but you don't know them.
