My take is that until I see someone act like a Jedi, they are not a Jedi.

Someone running around with force powers and a lightsaber is just that. Nothing more.

A Jedi is so much more than that. It is a way of life, a philospohy, a belief system. Ekade has yet to encounter a Jedi.

I know!! I have this vision in my head of how Ekade will react upon encountering a true jedi... It may never happen, but if it does it will be a very big deal to her.

I can understand how you all feel. However not every Jedi was Ben Kenobi. Many traveled to planet to aid others even though it brought them attention.

I do understand that the Jedi is far too common for this time frame. But again I think your being a bit too harsh.

If all Jedi tried to RP what your saying, all light Jedi would hide on Tat. All Dark Jedi would storm the server killing every living Rebel to extinction. Man what an awesome game. What a awesome RPing experience. I'm sorry that I don't fit the model Jedi as you guys feel it should be. But I don't think sitting in a house being a hermit is a great RP. You let me know if that's what you would want?

Sometime you guys should give a thought to realism and idealism. I'm sry the games not fun seeing so many Jedi around. But man is it weak to try and get ditched on by people who should be more open minded.

You all can chose every little detail of your characters. But for one such as I, Light Side Jedi. You have a cookie cutter template that I or anyone else like me must fit into to make you happy.

As far as RP'ing a Jedi, I have to give Dillion some credit. Keer's encounters with Dillion have been in keeping with well, how a Smuggler and a Jedi might interact.

I know that no one was focusing on Dillion personally. Not trying to imply that at all, but the fact that he's even registered here is a good start.

Let's all do our best to encourage the one Jedi who has joined the "RP Side".

Jeann d'Arc like so many of the Jedi, has gotten burned out. Her and I spent many hours talking OOC about Rping Jedi. Since we were training togather I assisted her in completing her template and helped her attain Knight status. She got tired of being corpse camped and has taken a vacation from the game.

Regardless of who the venom is meant for, the statement is that you all have a clear cut definition of how a Jedi is supposed to act and think. Just making it seem that Jedi aren't or can't be diverse.

I apologize for taking this a little bit personal. Though it may not be directed towards me. It appears that everyone has a definition for how a Jedi should be played. Theres a myriad of things people think Jedi should or should not do. I agree with some, I disagree with others.

As of the time of the previous post I was parting ways with my guild Mafia. So a little hostility may have come from there as well. Truely sry.

Lol, E-bo yes sometimes I turn to Non-RP darkside. Usually with someone that I don't RP with that has known me awhile, such as Lai. The reason I took Nov Entertainer was to cheer someone up who was having problems. RL before game IMO, and that means other people's RL's as well.

Lok'i I actually live on Dant. The scene of Nym's Stronghold ws just a perfect shot of what I wanted to say. I haven't really been RPing in groups much aside from the Roba.
