Nah, I'm not trying to compete either, but I'm saying that the kid was what, 12-13 years old at best when that happenned? And he's not far from that now.

Is he supposed to be a "Spin Doctor" at that age? Is anybody? Were you? And the fact that he's not just shows that he's a kid. And it shouldn't be his "problem" for not being media savvy at teen-age. Good Morning America? Day-um! If that's the case then why shoot so low? Get an agent to dial up Charlie Rose or Jim Lehrer.

But in your example, you're not taking into account that THE KID WALKED INTO THE FRICKIN' MICROWAVE. It's not like a microwave sneak-attacked him, or jumped out of the bushes, or jumped him in a dark alley. He walked inside, and thought it would be a good idea to shut the door, and then was shocked. SHOCKED, when someone pushed the buttons and turned it on.

Then everyone who made fun of him tried to make it up to him and got like $4,500 in an online donation to buy him an iPod and laptop with. I'd say that's not too bad for being an idiot.

You're taking that way out of context. If he knew that the tape was going to go on the 'net and that he was gonna get lampooned by the world then, yes that would have been something different, but still not quite what you're talking about, though.

Yeah that exchange rate sounds about right... 250k minus the fee to the great moose, him fixing up his mobile igloo... ohh i'm sorry it's not mobile, it's modular igloo, and the tribute he has to pay to the Beer mafia... that leaves him with about 150k Canadian.... but factor in the exchange rate and he actually is in the negative, so the exchange person will just take his money, kick him in the groin, and ask him if he was that weird kid from the light saber video.

Wait this just in.... he did in fact win the case, it seems he went out and spent all of it already on an exact replica of Darth Vaders outfit, a replica saber, and a brand new video camera.... :P
