I agree with Lith. communications are key and they broke down. I also agree the focus should not have been on capturing, but at moving the storyline forward. Granted it can be fun to capture people, but doing it over and over might cause some ooc frustration and cause confusion about the goals.

I loved the story, but at times I would sign on and what I had known fro mthe previous night was turned upside down. I just suggest posting or something, an update on what took place or any major events that have happened, that would be great.

Yeah, I try to post RP to add depth to the story as well as inform people of what is going on. In addition, I want to communicate what my character is feeling and what her intentions are.

The purpose is really to allow people to enjoy and find a way to participate in the story.


Unfortunately the stories are not always timely as they come out 1 or 2 days later. In a way that makes it more realistic since your character now needs to actively find out what is going on. At the same time it is frustrating because you might not have a clue as to where to begin.

I loved the ic posts giving us a rundown of what was going on. If we could mix that with a cliff notes version on a different part of the boards, that would be great. I think the one is great for enjoyment while the other is great to keep us up to date.

Actually, there was alot of player damage control performed by Jabe during the Replicant War. I recall two instances where he thought the players had totally screwed his story arc. But there existed a clear channel to get people involved and to resolve issues.

The Cliff notes of the events from Isleh's point of view.

Isleh left the Luck Despot and was followed by Kirt. Kirt demanded her surrender for breaking the Bounty Hunter's Code. She tried to escape but was captured. During the nasty interrogation, Kirt let it slip that Ekade was wanted by the Empire for starting Riots on Ryloth. Realizing his mistake, Kirt threatened to throw her into space with no spacesuit. She escaped.

Unable to approach the Empire or MERCS directly, Isleh called a few friends to see what information they could acquire.

Soon after, Isleh then heard that Dasumi and Rhian were in MERCS Custody. Kirt demanded a meeting threatening maltreatment of Dasumi and Rhian. Isleh went to negotiate for the fair treatment of them. It was a trap. Isleh knew it was a trap and had planed an escape to a Alliance Base only a few 100m away. She even placed mines to cover her escape. Had a probot recording the incident and uplinked to broadcast the incident. She was just overpowered by 4 MERCS. Isleh was captured. More information was gained. I escaped. The attempt to defame MERCS and cost them credits by broadcasting the incident with the profiles of the known MERCS was ineffectual.

Lots or running and fighting. Again, unable to approach the Empire or MERCS directly, members of Temple called a few friends to see what information they could acquire. A little information was gained. Whar learned that Kirt was in Dohorian(sp?) for some reason.

Kylie approached Batak with an offer of help. It was a trap. We were captured by MERCS. More information was gained. We escaped.

All downhill from here...

Then Kirt Said Screw all this mickey mouse crap and found out through Fed where Ekade was and walked right into their hands . Cause im evil like that and have no problems gettng beat up now and then. Oh and more information was learned. Pretty much all of it since I was ALT+Tabing to make sure i had the correct Resources that the miners were getting along with all the other Crap.

What does this have to do with mining? Or resources?

Well Im saying I gave up the rest of the reasons as to why we went after ekade, I had to get the resources sames, crap like that. That way they were no longer in the dark. Information about it wasnt posted widely or even spread except through word of mouth cause we thought in the dark would be a bit more....Real since she wouldnt know crap till whenever but it just seemed to piss people off so I put it out there when I got captured ((my choice)) and went from why they were after her to them finding Rhian.

Not sure, but I think I may be captured.....but I escaped and was recaptured and released after MERCS adopted their new catch and release program
