Honestly, I don't think he'll make a new account to try and come back. He was almost trying to get himself banned at the last flare up to not be tempted to come back. Its not very likely we'll be sticking around SWG for very long anyway, unfortunately.
"Unexpected this is, and unfortunate."

Should you leave SWG you will leave a large gap in your place, and I'd really hate to see you go and you would be missed.
I would definitely agree.

If it's not, we're covered now! :D

We can encourage each other to try and act civil. That's about the best we can hope for. Like any code though... it's more 'guidelines' than 'rules'. We've got to police ourselves too.

Yes, governance IS a real word - you even used it correctly! From The American Heritage Dictionary:
governance: the act, process, or power of exercising political authority

In this case the rules were broken intentionally with constant warnings, and very little remorse was shown by the violator.

Why would someone intentionally break the rules in order to get banned? Even if you are planning on leaving, that's just childish.

Just because the mods *can* act on in game situations with bans, they probably shouldn't.
The guidlines may seem fair and balanced for most of us, but others may not be in total agreement. I would rather suffer through a little leniancy (probably spelled wrong) than to see people burned and angered at the community.

Besides, most of the time it would be certain people's word against others. And things usually need to be in proper context to understand.

We all need to excersize patience with eachother, in game and out.

The SWGtales staff, IMHO have excersized a lot of patience in this matter.

Even thought i dont know much about this situation, I do have one comment that was used on another world I played on..

"You dont have to agree, just comply!"

This is more to the rules. They are set to help all. Buger up, and dont be suprised to find a pissy Jeid on your case.
