I'm not sure if this has been brought up in another thread or discussed at all, if so please forgive me. But I was wondering if we could set something up especially based on what Novell has brought up where people within the city could agree on player bounties. Such that Zannon wanted to get even for losing in at the casino and put a bounty on XXXX for 25,000 Credits. The RP was approved by XXXX and a bounty hunter or Merc from this new guild could be contacted to accept the mission at which time they could role play the confrontation and dual if both parties are willing. Us bounty hunters really need some more content. Just a suggestion. I hope I have the chance to meet some of you in game soon.

My 2 cents, not that you asked for them.. but here they are..

I think the mercs moving in to Noct is a great idea. Sure a mysterious stronghold in the dune sea sounds cool.. but living with other roleplayers makes it much easier to RP.

Once again..
Roleplayers spread out all over the galaxy = BAD
Roleplayers gathered together = GOOD

This all feeds off of my Roleplayer theory of critical mass. Why do people go to Coronet? Why not Doaba Guerffel? Because there is a critical mass of people on Coronet. It is like a self-sustaining fusion reaction.

Now imagine this with Roleplayers. Hence my ultimate dream to have the majority of roleplayers in one (or maybe 2) places.

See I love the way Ekade thinks. I personally think it should possibly be a bit more split up. Maybe not in 1 or 2 places but 4 to 6 places. It's just hard to tell what would be spreading the RP to thin. I think a good RP city or two per every other planet or something would be excellent. Only having 2 RP cities while great may diminish the greatest aspect of this RPG, SPACE! My dream is to be able to have great RP that travels through space and crosses planet bounderies but is still rich on each planet. Allows for say inter-galactic real GCW content, or real bounty hunter content. Imagine a mayor from an RP city on Dant. hiring entertainers with some real RP content focused events, and that traveling itself could be another great addition to RP which is why I so look forward to the JTL where your RP can continue in space, adding so much more depth and player content possibilities. I got first dibs for being the farm boy in the turrets!

I'd like to agree with the 4-6 city idea but realism forbids:

-There are perhaps 100 of us active role players here, yes? And really of that 100 perhaps a couple dozen really pushing RP'ing (at least as I can see in here)

To me this fact alone means in order for us to really sustain ourselves with RP'ing, 1-2 cities really needs to be the focus. I think it's just a matter of numbers. Perhaps with another dozen folks brought into the fold as active folks who really push RP'ing, another city could be added.

Totally agree. The critical mass much be acheived before we can start branching to 4-6.

They certainly don't sponsor and have created the server's most popular consistant rp attraction the crazy roba cantina either.

At any rate, I think the resources for 4-6 RP cities exsist on Gorath, I just think it's a matter of survying for them if you will. As you can tell from the whiney bastard post above there is already 1 city it seems on Talus that's already established. However never having attended this event or been to the city I couldn't say how many real RP players their are as members of the city. But if they were interested in creating our own little RP world we could start trying to attrack RP's from the other non RP guilds and cities around the world to establish new cities. Now we've got Noc. on Lok and this city on Talus. I'm not sure the population of either but if they're strong enough as all the conversation I've heard here in the last 3 days or so since joining indicate then I see no reason why we couldn't set up a sort of Inter-galactic counsel with maybe 2 members from each city to establish an RP galaxy and help establish new RP cities. By providing the resources players need in the area's we're targeting. We could slowly expand our RP galaxy to include Tatooine and Dantooine. No offense but I hate corellia so we can let that planet rot
but I think you can start to see where I'm going. If a few people from this city on Talus, and Zannon and the mayer (sorry I still can't get the names down yet I'm really bad with names) got together with a couple of key people from Talus we could get some real content going either having something like a sister city or rival cities established. If we were able to set up a city on Yavin or something we could very well have a great chance for some smuggling RP. Or if we set up a city on Tatooine we could RP rival merc's and Pirates as the pirates on Tat. more then likely would be involved in some shady business with the Hutts and the Hutts could be getting a little upset with the business Nocturnous was taking away from them. These are just a few of my thoughts and maybe Gorath isn't ready for this yet, but I'm ready and willing to try to make this happen.

for the record, the talus city is Dohrian, was placed the day player cities were available, all citizens RP. All members of ttf RP. Anyone found not rping is kicked out...ask ekade about Thade....

by the way jerrel...thade was sent to me using you as a reference...should have checked with you first i guess....but care to tell me what this guys problem is? He fucking RUINED some rp sessions then had the nerve to say we "are too into this stupid shit" and "fuck RP" i was like "why the hell do you join an rp guild if you don't want to rp" and he just sits around harrassing people

How many people reside in Dohrian? Just trying to see what kind of resources would be available. Sorry to hear about Thade, that's gotta be one bad egg. Why even play an RPG if you don't like RP? Hopefully he's one of those kids that will get tired of the effort it takes to enjoy this game and leave it. If we were to find enough interested in developing more RP cities through out the galaxy to imporve all of our RP experiences do you think any of them might be willing to consider relocating to another planet to help get things off the ground?
