But the only problem with the droid angle is that anyone can use the droid; it's not a Smuggler-only item, if it even exists at all.

Also, for that Shuttleport, you couldn't pull the droid out fast enough; the covert detection is instantaneous as soon as you appear in the world.

Correct to the third power there X'an. Those were the points we tossed back at the Devs on the SOE Smuggler Forum back in February after Imperial Crackdown.

I think that they responded with the ability to trade Junk to the Jawas. Yipee! I always wondered what Fred Sandford would do as a smuggler.

You don't. Keer's saying that they were thinking about giving Smugglers the ability to trade junk to the Jawas for a profit. Because, you know, all those times in the movies when Han and Lando had to stop by Tattoine to drop off some junk for the Jawas...oh, that's right, THAT NEVER EVER HAPPENED.

One has the sexiest and fastest ship in the galaxy. The other is a womanizing scoundrel who purchased an entire city and named himself Mayor.

But we get to trade junk with Jawas. That fits right in with the whole "Find your place in the Galaxy" marketing by-line SOE came up with. That's right, my friend, YOU TOO CAN BE A GARBAGEMAN--WE MEAN SMUGGLER.

Therein lies the rub. It *sounds* like an awesome profession to have. But in reality? Not so much. I keep telling myself I only have a couple more months to wait, but I remember telling myself that 6 months ago, too.

I was at the Jawa Trading post on tat.. .and I couldnt understand them.. so I guess on;y smugglers can do that?? even though in the movies Luke and his "uncle" could do it.. WTF! they could even buy shot off of them.. and the worst part about that place.. you cant kill the little fuggers!!!

Sorry Seret, but for that faction base/shuttle port combo - I really love Devouron. That base used to get raided up and down and now nothing. Nobody touches it. I'd pay money to watch a Rebel spawn at that shuttle - I think its a beautiful thing.
