No Del'tar, I think you need the 75K more than the town does. Keep it. Donate the money only if you want to and do not need it or have a use for it.

X'an is actually doing ok money wise....he doesnt need the 75k. My other character will keep his bonus, but x'an's is fair game. Honest.

...though I acknowledge the fact that 85% percent of the store is crap and I wonder why the hell people buy it.
Also, it's not that I can't use 75k, just that I'd rather have a neat space quest like the wookiee ground quest. I guess I shouldn't bitch. Yeah, I should be grateful to get anything at all. Trust the cranky college kid to gripe about wanting a different present. Now I feel pretty lame.
