The dancer is more athletic, quick, strong, balanced, coordinated, better footwork, more flexible, etc.
Of course my opinion is completely biased.

Ok, I'm sorry but a highly trained combatant such as a fencer-rifleman would probably be at least as athletic, and quick due to again rigerous combat training. They would also probably be stronger then the dancer in most cases. However I'll give you the balance, footwork, and flexibility.
Now I don't disagree that Entertainers should receive some kind of mods to supplement their combat skills slightly however I'm sorry but I don't think they should stand a chance against a fully templated combat toon. It just wouldn't be balanced.
Hense the whole idea of combat levels. It's just like boxing now, you can have middle weights, light weights, and heavy weights. But you're not going to see a light weight take out a heavy weight despite the fact that light weight is probably more agile, has better foot work etc. Because when the heavy weight lands a good one it's over. The strength training the heavy weight puts in will eventually have a greater impact on the fight then the benefits of being fast and agile.
Now of course this isn't the case 100% of the time, there is always the David and Goliath type story that happens, but they've already got those roles filled with Luke, Vader, etc.

Well, I disagree. I think someone who has an elite combat profession should at least stand a chance against anyone.
I have a sword and I know how to use it. That should give me a chance. That is how the old combat system worked.
Now I have no chance at killing a 100% combat template.
So basically, even though I am a master at a combat profession.. I have to RP as though I am a total weakling.. because that is what I am in relation to most everyone else.
I dont think the heavyweights will see me and say, "Oh look, it's a lightweight.. lets leave her alone."

Ekade, you have a chance.
I guarantee it.
Currently I am level 60, master swordsman, as far as combat goes.
Last night I almost took down Dariis... Who is level 80, Master Pikeman, Master Teras Kasi, and dabbling in fencing.
I also nearly took down a level 80 jedi in a duel.
Now, in both cases, yes I did lose, but by a small margin in both fights.
Fencing, as I see it, still has a chance... But you will have to play as a fencer.
Ranged weapons, will most likely whore you... I'm sorry, ranged weapons whore everyone now... Except jedi. This is only because they have the range advantage over you, you need to get close to do damage... As a fencer, your damage is based completely on DOTs. (As much as I understand). In order for a Fencer to stand a chance, you will need to play smart... Run in, deal some damage, run to cover. Realism, just took a whole new turn.
Despite everything, levels are important... but they aren't that important.
Dariis had 293 melee defense! I mean! If I can almost take that down... Something about the "higher level wins" theory has to be flawed.
