Addressing this with zero flames. I promise. :)

1. I would love to do things on Sat night. Yes, many of us are online, but we do have other things to do besides play with the band. Many of us, like myself, have other responsibilities (guilds, cities and other events). So, as we might have all 18 current members online, this does not mean we are all free. :D

2. I personally do not care for some members of TTF. However, these are *my* opinions only and I have never ever told anyone to stay away from The Roba, agree with me or whatnot. If someone asks my feelings, I will express them. I would NEVER ask anyone to avoid the guild/event. I would be interested if someone is saying that I told people to stay away, as it's simply not true. I encourage people to make their own decisions. I would never dream of telling Alonzo or Toront how to run their guild, their RP and city, as I know they would give me the same respect. I encourage people to attend ALL events, and *choose* what they want to do. I also like people to hit both the Roba, Ruby Lake and The Kreetles events for Friday, as they're quite different.

I have issue with certain members, which are *personal*. However, I believe that this should not affect how my *character* interacts with any TTF member. My character has no problem at all with TTF or any of its members. She's also not stupid enough to give her opinion about the empire or anyone who follows the Emperor. :D

Please PM me if someone has said differently. I'd like to handle this privately and in an adult manner, which is something that many outside this community cannot seem to grasp. :) We're a passionate lot here, and I think we all *do* have the right idea in trying to get past all the bickering.

We don't have to like each other, each other's guilds or whatnot, but this doesnt mean we should be disrespectful publically.

Sorry for the long ramble. I think the more we communicate, we can get through the hurts, anger and move towars a more positve experience for *all* roleplayers.
I pondered for a day or two before deciding to reply to this thread. I'm a newer player of SWG, a recent addition to the Kreetles, and an even newer member of the RP community. I wasn't sure if anyone would be interested in my opinions. Finally, I decided to share them anyway. Then, after reading Sti-Fi's post, I realized she perfectly relayed my own feelings on the matter. Constructive messages such as this are vastly more helpful than pointing fingers and issuing thinly-veiled insults.

Excellent job, Sti-Fi, and DITTO. What's that acronym again, Ekade? Oh, yeah, QFE!

I've missed 1.5 Friday night Kreetle gigs because I was spending time at the Roba. Iago was completely cool with it, he gave me no flak whatsoever.
You are absolutely correct. Throw Ruby's in there along with other stuff...well, we simply don't have enough hours to do everything we want. :D

I don't think it's a bad thing for people to want to go to both, but it is hard when folks feel divided. You want to support everything. I mean, we're trying to be a community, which means we should support *the community*, regardless of our personal feelings about this or that person.

I think it's hard to expect you, Ekade, to just drop a RP event you've been doing so long, just because of change. Why can't we all move forward, ya know?

Thanks. I was hoping that my words would get across what I was trying to say. I don't always communicate well. Funny, since I am a roleplayer. But I am an old pen/paper gamer, so trying to do this all in text can be difficult on this old geezer. :D
