LOL.. I think I am going to be spending the rest of my afternoon reading this.

"Why a Wookiee, Jade? Why not a hot Twi'lek cantina dancer or something?"

I was not cliche when I created this character, dammit!!! (or was I?)

Seret Sajet wrote:I highly recommend any of the books with "Tales From..." in the title. Gee, I wonder where this site got its name?

This includes:
Tales From Jabba's Palace
Tales of the Bounty Hunters
Tales From the Mos Eisley Cantina
Tales From the Empire

They're all collections of great short stories, some by the before mentioned Timothy Zhan and other great Star Wars writers.

Check 'em out!
Tales From Jabba's Palace! OMG! I have that one and am reading it now..its very interesting I must say. And I want to try to get Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina sometime :D

Finished Courtship of Leia today. Great book. Moving forward to the hand of thrawn 2 volume set. Courtship is definately one I could read again.

My personal fav is "I, Jedi." Though probably not the best one to read first. I sugest Ringo to start with "Truce at Bakurra" its the very first book right after the events of ROJ and just work your way up.

My favorite scene in that book is still when Luke pilots the Falcon with the force and tears up the Nightsisters. Its one of Luke's most badass moments in an SW Novel.

Yeah, I'll have to pick that one up; I just figured Heir to the Empire was the first book after the movies in terms of timeline.
